Saturday at Basingstoke was blustery and changeable; one minute cloudy with showers, the next sunny and warm! The wind varied from almost non-existant at one side of the arena, to strong and gusty at the other side. Nevertheless, flyers from all over the UK and Europe came to fly and enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Basingstoke. Amongst the invited flyers were Stephen Versteegh & Otto Vossen from Holland, Pedro & Esteban Gonzalez from Spain, Nick James of Bristol, Kevin Robson & Kelvin Woods of North East Kite Flyers, Collectif Zoone from France, and The Flying Squad.

The marquee was the venue in the evening for games of Pentanque (boules) and lots of food & drink. Always a great social event!
